Little artists, big values: Marraffa and Werent engage families to build a culture of safety
The goal is to instill the value of safety from a young age.
28 April 2026
Workplace safety is not just a set of rules, but a value that is built every day through behavior, attention, and awareness. On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026, the Marraffa-Werent Group chose to strengthen this commitment with a special initiative designed to involve not only employees, but also their families.
An initiative that starts with the youngest
For this important occasion, the Group launched a competition dedicated to employees’ children, with a clear goal: to convey the value of safety from an early age.
Employees were asked to explain to their children what it means to work safely. The children then transformed this lesson into drawings, creating spontaneous and authentic representations of workplace safety.
Construction sites, machinery, PPE, as well as gestures of care and collaboration: each drawing tells, with simplicity and creativity, how important it is to protect oneself and others.
The drawings were then published on the Marraffa and Werent Facebook pages, where the community actively participated by voting for their favorite illustration with a like.
Safety as a shared culture
This initiative stems from the belief that safety should not be perceived as an obligation, but as a shared culture that involves people, families, and communities.
The Marraffa-Werent Group operates daily in environments where safety is an absolute priority.
For this reason, over the years the Group has invested in:
- continuous staff training;
- the use of cutting-edge vehicles and equipment;
- the promotion of best practices across all work activities.
Involving younger generations further strengthens this commitment, helping to build greater awareness from an early age.
Safety is learned from a young age
Educating about safety means building the future. Through a simple and universal language like drawing, young people become ambassadors of a fundamental message: working safely is both a right and a responsibility.
With this initiative, the Marraffa-Werent Group reaffirms its vision: safety is not only an operational priority, but a cultural value to be shared every day, both inside and outside the workplace.
Because safety, even before being a rule, is a habit. And every important habit… is learned from a young age.
